Q. What is a blog, anyway?
A. A blog (not to be confused with a blob—a person who spends too much time on his/her blog) is a word blend of the term web-log.
It is defined as a type of website or part of a website that is maintained by people with regular entries of commentary on a variety of topics, such as news, entertainment, and in my case, poking fun at life, at myself, or at you.
Q. Why should I subscribe to your blog?
A. Few things in life are free. This is one of them.
Q. You used to email me your blog, now you’re asking me to subscribe. What gives?
A. It’s kind of like using the airport moving walkway . . . it gets you from A to B faster. Meaning, nothing changes other than that my blog posts will be e-mailed to you automatically and that will save me time. And time is money, unless you blog.
Q. If I subscribe, what’s in it for me?
A. “Whoever follows me will have a life filled with light and will never live in the dark.”
Q. Isn’t that John 8:12?
A. Just go with it.
Q. If I subscribe, will I get e-mail Spam?
A: Rest assured, this is totally kosher.
Q. Will I start receiving weird stuff, like Girls & Corpses magazine?
A. You might, but not because you subscribed to my blog.
Q. So you’re saying that if I subscribe, nothing will change. I’ll continue to receive your blog in my inbox each week, and you’ll continue to earn no money. Where do I sign up?
A. Just click here https://mainstreetmusingsblog.com/ On the right side, enter your e-mail address where it says “Email subscription” and submit.
Q. What if I subscribe, but change my mind?
A. You can unsubscribe at any time. That’s free too . . .
